Ministry internship Program
Purpose
Our internship program seeks to provide a wholistic learning environment for inspiring leaders where they will be formed emotionally, relationally, theologically, and spiritually for leadership in ministry and life.
Course of Study
9-12 months
Serving in hands-on-ministry
Ministry coaching
Mentoring
Assigned reading and discussion
Two day personal retreat
Requirements:
Faith - Professing believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and desire to grow as a disciple.
Relationship - Heart to meet new people and invest in friendships in and out of the church
Learner - Humble attitude and desire to grow
Service - Heart to serve others
Expectations:
The intern is expected to find and work a full-time (40 hour) job or work part-time (20 hours) and pursue college studies (local school or online).
The intern will be expected to allocate 10-12 hours per a week towards their internship.
The intern is responsible for all their own living cost (housing, food, utilities, etc). We will help in finding housing arrangements.
We invite the intern to raise $5000 from friends, family, and other AFLC congregations to help off-set their housing cost (raised money goes to housing costs).
